Besides our well-known color combinations each season we introduce a new assortment of solid colors in our "Essential" line of women's Cota moccasins. We worked with our leather distributor to come up with this custom color in full grain which we've named "Grape." The leather used for this one is amazing - supple yet sturdy - and the color is stunning. In developing this particular leather we requested that the dye not saturate the entire hide leaving raw edges that have a subtle raspberry hue. Because moccasins are manufactured with edges visible (not trimmed or wrapped) we take advantage of this unique finishing technique to full effect and the result is spectacular. These are appropriate for year round use in warmer climates and are perfect for spring through fall in more northern climates. We suggest wearing them with just about anything - jeans Capri's shorts khakis and even short skirts. When you get compliments on these be sure to tell your admirers about Itasca Leathergoods!
